Approvals, Assessments, And Rework
Not every workflow should close in one uninterrupted autonomous pass.
Approvals
Section titled “Approvals”Approvals are the explicit moments where an operator or designated reviewer needs to make a decision that should be recorded by the platform.
Assessments
Section titled “Assessments”Assessments are structured review or evaluation steps that examine whether work meets an expected bar. They may be driven by specialists, operators, or both, depending on the playbook.
Rework
Section titled “Rework”Rework is what happens when the current output is not good enough but the workflow is still recoverable. Instead of silently papering over the gap, the platform records the correction path and gives the orchestrator a legal route to continue.
Why This Matters
Section titled “Why This Matters”These are control-plane concepts. The runtime can execute a task and report an outcome, but it should not invent workflow meaning around approvals or rework on its own.
